Great interview with Neil Selwyn. Good to have someone with a broad view, not just a barracker. I agree that we need to be critical, but to add a different perspective on Google Glass. One of the things that was spruiked at Google in Education Summit was the opportunity to have a virtual tour of somewhere that was previously inaccessible See for example Andrew Vanden Heuvel virtual tour of CERN http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRrdeFh5-io
